Well version 0.9.7 has been released and along with it a few changes. Guilds now begin with limited member slots and must gain levels through taxing member exp in order to add additional members. Also, finally after 11 long years shields have been updated. They now take durability damage when a hit is blocked and have seperate block chances. Please provide any feedback you may have on the current system and how you think it can be improved. I'd love to hear from the players and will make changes if they are needed. I have also added /roll and /broll to allow d&d style dice rolls (not for any specific purpose but they can be fun and useful at times). Note: please don't overdue /broll in broadcast as if it becomes a significant spam problem it may be removed (or at least a way to filter it out will be introduced). The /mail system has been turned off as I still have a few things needed to complete the feature (such as an ignore/block ability, GUI, and item attachments).

So this release means hopefully there will be an LG event or drop soon??

just because guilds need members to level up for new slots for members doesn't mean there will be an uprising.

guilds have become pretty much a dictatorship and i don't think it'll change unless guilds become more readily available.

There was an LG event late last night--of which Aryth won.

And speak for your own experience with guilds, DW isn't close to a dictatorship.

Also, I believe Scorpio has made a note saying he's going to implement a quest-line in order to have LGs able to be farmed in game; so your wish has been granted.

In the next update he said (added this in so people don't spam everyone with 'when is the quest coming out omgomgomg'

I like the changes for PvP, but the current new shield system makes it kinda hectid to train on npcs that do any damage to your health.

With the new system, taking 15 damage from banshees means I've to run to heal 4-5x. Whereas, the old system I did not have to heal once, but only after the kill.

This almost forces players to whore in def after a certain point. (If they desire for gear progression.) But make's it harder for them to level progress since most of their stats were allocated in def or speed.

I've to say that I been doing the same damage for about 50 levels and would love to be adding my stats in str a lil sooner!

So perhaps, a 10-15% increase to blocking npcs would make things a little more balanced!

Where do you think I been allocating my stats in for the pass 50+ levels if my damage hasn't changed at all?

Obviously, this doesn't apply to you much since you had to remake your character.
